A large number of Mitsubishi retailers across the country will host the local debut of Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s rolling showroom as it takes to the road this month. The rig nearly doubles in width to twenty four feet to create a one thousand-square-foot showroom filled with the latest high-definition DLP(R) and flat panel televisions. This is traveling through Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Texas, North Carolina and California so a lot of people wants to visits mobile showrooms. Virgin Mobile Australia and a Teenager

Virgin Mobile Australia sued by a USA based family for featuring their teenage daughter’s photograph apparently without permission over an advertising campaign. The family claims that this advertising agency took a copy of a photo which had been uploaded to the photo sharing website. The lawsuit names Virgin Mobile Australia, but oddly also includes Virgin Mobile USA - which is a completely unrelated company - and Creative Commons, which is a non-profit body which defined the copyright policies, but has no involvement in this case either. Virgin Mobile Australia said it was “unable to comment at this stage as we have not received or seen a copy of the lawsuit in question”.

Microsoft and Vista Photo feature

Dave Block, Windows senior product manager, demonstrated the photo-related components of the Windows Live software. The software includes the ability to upload photos with two mouse clicks to Windows Live Spaces, an online site for blogging and sharing photos. Microsoft doesn’t envision the ability to export photos to other sites such as Shutterfly or Flickre, Block added in an interview. He also said “A goal with Vista was to make photo import really simple. But we got feedback that people wanted it to be more highly functional,” “There’s no agreed upon industry standard,” Block said. “Both implementations are good; they’re just not compatible.”

HP estimates forty eight percent of print jobs come from web pages. By the year 2010, HP assumes the digital printing world to expand to fifty three trillion digital pages yearly. “That’s the opportunity we need to think about together as a partner. How can we capture more pages?” Joshi said this in a presentation. He identified three key areas of focus for the print 2.0 strategy: extend the company’s digital content creation. For example, logoworks and snapfish, across customer segments spanning consumers to enterprise; and deliver a digital printing platform. HP is trying to get in front of the web in a hostile way.
